TMD "My problem started back in '99. I kept on having a sore left ear and headaches. I had visited may Doctors and a couple of specialist, but no one could pin point my problem. This went on for may years. I actually gave up and just places cotton wool in my ear to block if from cold air. I started to notice that whenever I talked a lot and laughed a lot that I would get headaches and ear aches. Sometime in 2005 I went to see Dr Daniel Lu who tested my jaw after I told him my problem. Dr Lu went on and took impressions of my jaw, x-rays and felt my jaw open and close. After that Dr Lu explained to me that it was my jaw that had troubled me for all those years. TMD For the past year, with a plate, a few button braces and elastics, you have made the minor corrections to allow my jaw to sit more comfortably, and relieve my headaches. Before the denture work, I would get headaches once or twice a week, which would end up as a migraine once or twice a month. My jaw would regularly geel tight and uncomfortable. I oticed the relief to my jaw after a few months of wearing the plate, and the headaches became less frequent. I still get the occasional headache from triggers such as over tiredness, but my jaw feels much more relaxed, and I know that your dental work has contributed to the reduced frequency if headaches and migraines.
